What is a therapeutic retreat?
Therapeutic Psychedelic Retreats aren't actually anything new in terms of Historic and Ancient use of Psychedelic compounds which have been used for Millenia all over the World by previous peoples. Cherished by generations of our collective ancestors for specific ceremonies, traditions, rituals, healing and connection with the Spirit World to Expand Consciousness
What is new is the Modern version of Psychedelic Retreats where many aspects of the traditional history and use of Psychedelics merge with modern spaces, specifically trained guides, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, spirituality, therapy, psychology, neuroscience and an integrative holistic approach. There are not only temporary, but permanent Psychedelic retreat centers opening up all across Canada.
Based on the specific training and program of the Retreat there may be more of a focus on different aspects of Therapeutic potential. Some programs focus on inner therapy work, and discovering self purpose and self love. While other programs and retreats may focus more on accessing, and healing Trauma and other Mental Health challenges. There are also retreats that can focus more on expanding consciousness, personal growth, authentic leadership, and fostering an optimized internal sense of self that radiates outward to your community and humanity as a whole. River Rock is currently in the Pre-Production stage of Psilocybin products as the Federal Licensing application is being processed. River Rock looks forward to building partnerships with Retreat Centers, Psychedelic Teachers, Healthcare Professionals, Universities and developing our own Retreat Program as the regulatory landscape evolves.
With a highly optimized production facility, and the wide range of Psychedelic producing fungal species we are extremely excited to soon be able to provide high quality products for use in healing, ceremony, and retreat. The added bonus our ongoing Research and Development into new species provides, is direct feedback from our Partners on the efficacy and experience of the Psilocybin based products. There is emerging science on associated compounds in Psilocybin producing Mushrooms which River Rock is able to test, verify and cultivate for specific ratios of these associated compounds. This allows a truly collaborative and evolving system of quality production, and safe effective use as Research continues to expand our knowledge of modern Therapeutic Psilocybin use.

When in an altered state of Consciousness, the external world can stimulate both positively, and negatively therefore care to create a positive environment of space, and community is essential
Downloading Personal Insight
Due to the Intense nature of the Therapeutic Psilocybin Journey there will be far more experienced than can be captured as direct insight, consciousness expansion, or healing. This is why interaction and communication with a trained guide, and taking time after the Journey has completed to receive and integrate the various aspects of the experience is key. This can take place over the next days, weeks and months as you re-calibrate
